X-Men: Apocalypse Poster – The Four Horsemen Are Ready For Battle

X-Men: Apocalypse Poster – The Four Horsemen Are Ready For Battle
Leading up to the release of director Bryan Singer’s  X-Men: Apocalypse this May, fans are no doubt wondering just what lengths Singer and company will take to change the X-Men film canon going forward , and what rumors regarding the blockbuster superhero feature to be will ultimately come true. If everything continues to fall into place as nicely as they have thus far appeared to in the film’s latest TV spot  and feature length trailer , then viewers who have been following the X-Menmotion picture franchise since Singer’s first film in the series from 2000 are likely in for a real treat.
Newcomers to the series  Alexandra Shipp (Straight Outta Compton) and Olivia Munn (The Newsroom) have already come forward to dish about their versions of Storm and Psylocke, who will be joined by the likes of Michael Fassbender back as Magneto and relative newcomer Ben Hardy as Angel, who will collectively form the four horseman of the Apocalypse, as portrayed by Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens). Better yet, the latest theatrical poster for X-Men: Apocalypse shows off the sinister troupe with even further style and thematic panache.
In the new X-Men: Apocalypse poster (released by Yahoo! Movies), Shipp, Munn, Fassbender, Hardy, and Isaac strike an imposing image against the featured byline “Destroy,” thus signaling the antagonism and menace that stands behind their impressive veneer. By the looks of things Apocalypse won’t be pulling any punches in his expected attempt at world dominion in Singer’s new film, leaving it up to James McAvoy’s Charles Xavier and the rest of his young mutants to pull together and save the world from tyranny and destruction.

Following the release of the latest batch of promotional images for X-Men: Apocalypse, things do seem to be lining up for what might very well be a feature film to best X-Men: Days of Future Past, and bring a thrilling conclusion to Singer’s recent tenure as director of the film franchise. With any luck, everything seen thus far from the new movie will result in a production in keeping with the last two X-Men installments, and will herald the beginning of a whole new era of the popular Marvel Comics property on the big screen.
Singer has certainly built up quiet the reputation for himself in the year’s since his X-Men debut film, and he doesn’t appear to have lost much steam in the intervening fifteen plus years. Until X-Men: Apocalypse sees theatrical release later this Summer, viewers will just have to bide their time until the final rise of Apocalypse arrives in theaters across the country and around the world.

NEXT: How Apocalypse Will Change the X-Men Movie Canon
